We really liked the general area, but due to the ATVs in the area it can get a bit noisy. The hike up to Blue Lake Creek was very challenging, but when we went in August it was awash with quite interesting mushrooms! It did have quite an elevation gain in only about 2.5 miles.

Secluded little campground that is in a good location in GP national forest. We walked down to the river straight from the site and had our own private access to the river. Most sites are large in size but there is no running water available and there was only one outhouse. I would recommend this for short stays or people passing through!

Very spacious camp sites, neighbors aren't too close, and the place wasn't packed. Surprisingly quiet for being right off of the main forest road. Honestly glad we stayed in this place rather than the overcrowded bigger campgrounds, like Tahkalahk and Walupt. Grassy, clean areas, lots of shade, nice area for a camp fire and a well kept picnic table, and a bonus, the sound of a creek running by to lull you to sleep. We will 100% be camping here again!
