Wonderful, clean, shaded, spacey campground. Highly recommend. Close to Mt Rainer and multiple hikes with waterfalls.

We recently camped at Cowlitz Falls Campground and had a great experience overall. The campground is beautiful, very well maintained, and the bathrooms were clean throughout our stay. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping the campground in excellent condition.

Our kids really enjoyed the playground, which was a great addition and gave them something fun to do during our stay.

One thing to be aware of is that they are very strict about quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. A staff member came to our campsite around 10:15 PM to remind us that quiet hours had started, even though we were just spending time with our two toddlers and weren’t making loud noises. Later that night, around 2 AM, we could hear other campers yelling and being loud, so we’re not sure if they were also reminded about the quiet-hour rules.

That said, we still had a wonderful time and would definitely return. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend visiting Cowlitz Falls Lavender Company. It’s absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the visit.

Overall, we had a great camping trip and made some wonderful memories here. We appreciated how clean and well cared for the campground was and look forward to coming back.

Great campground! Clean and well maintained. Super clean restrooms! Excellent and friendly staff. We didn't have cash on us to pay for firewood. They said it was no problem to pay the next day when we could get to an ATM in town. They even informed us of a lavender festival about a mile down the road. Loved the disc golf course! Perfect for beginners or seniors. Super private pull thru sites in the A loop. We would definitely use this campground again. Big thanks to the staff!!!

Great experience from check in to checkout. Very clean. Lots of fun sports like disc golf and horseshoes. Group Sites. There are walking paths and a boat launch where you can have easy access to the beautiful river. My Tent spot was awesome and close to bathrooms and showers(and river) for $20 plus tax. There is a quarter box for showers but I just turned on the water all 3 showers I took. It's so quiet at night!! Very peaceful. The camp hosts are great. Close to Packwood and Morton and even closer to Randle. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back again.

Cowlitz campground is fantastic. Beautiful setting off highway 12. This camp ground is so clean, staff without exception were helpful in educating about features of area like various type of berries to pick in area, friendly and willing to help as I needed help with setting up my new phone in case my husband had an emergency as well how to secure help in park. Since our last visit brand new bathrooms with showers have been added. While walking around the campground loops every site was so clean and there was no litter anywhere on campground. The his campground also has horse shoes, a huge playground area for activities for all ages in.A flying disc course, baseball field, a basketball hop, day use with ample parking and picnic table snd a lot of hiking trails within the park. Lisa and rest of staff a big big thank you for yet another wonderful getaway and time to rest!!! L and D
