We really enjoyed our time here. Fishing the Cispus and visiting Layser Cave were highlights. Site A10 was a great site but the road was very busy with logging and dump trucks and the noise detracted from the experience. Sites further away from the road may be less susceptible.

This was our second time here this year! Wished we would have reserved more weekends. This is a secluded, clean, quiet and luscious location. The host are amazing, friendly and courteous. They remind you that you are on vacation and not to worry. They are busy ensuring the place is kept well and clean. There is a curfew that is respected and the place is super quiet after 10pm, I believe. There are a few trails close to the campsites and lots of loops for the kids to ride bikes. We plan on stay a handful of time next summer. Thank you to the hosts at the site for keeping Iron Creek beautiful!

Although the campground itself is wonderful and well located to a variety of activities, I did not have the "excellent" experience I am used to at this facility. No representative of the park stopped at all (park ranger or host); not even to check my America the Beautiful pass which I used for a discounted campsite fee. The site itself was pretty good but the fire pit is set so unevenly into the ground that cooking over it is impossible, There was a bit more than normal litter around the site...bottle caps, left behind tent pegs, bits of plastic around and a rather large plastic wrapper in the fire pit.

Absolutely beautiful area. The trails are perfect but there is only one area for swimming. Overall wonderful experience. No cell service.
