Summary

Tower Rock Campground is a well-maintained and quiet site with clean facilities and plenty of shade, making it a pleasant spot for relaxation. While campsites are somewhat close together and there is no official river access, the campground offers easy access to nearby attractions like the Northern Gifford Pinchot. Some visitors noted a lack of amenities, such as toilet paper, and confusion with a similarly named campground, but overall, the environment is appreciated for its peaceful vibes and friendly atmosphere.

We tried Tower Rock CG this year because Iron Creek was closed. It was a nice campground, really nice pull through sites for the camper trailer. Nicer than average bathrooms, really nice setting, with the tall trees as you drive in. Close proximity to Burley Mtn for huckleberries, and close enough to Windy Ridge for a day trip. A good option, a little smaller and quieter than Iron Creek.

Quiet and peaceful stay. Hiking trails were very close and easily accessible. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Vault toilets were in good shape and clean as well. Plan to make a return trip.

The water was not potable! The water from the spigot ranged from orange to brown. The only place to get water is in Randle. The neighboring centers do NOT sell water. Other than that, the campground was great.

Be careful to go to the correct tower rock campground. No service down the road and there is a sign for tower rock campground and RV park - which is not the same thing. Where the sign is for tower rock campground and RV park go right instead of straight. Good quiet campground, but potable water looked a bit suspect.

Host was never available. I guess they made their rounds because the space reservation signs would change. But I couldn't find them or get a response from knocking on their door. Kind of unusual. A nice clean park though.

Bathrooms were cleaned every morning, no cell or internet signal, camping sites clean but not very happy that there were fire restrictions. Overall a good experience.

Nice quiet campground with relatively secluded sites. Water pumps and bathrooms close by, and nice grills on the fire pits for cooking. Doesn't have river access despite being able to hear it close by. Still a ways from Mt. Adams and other major recreation areas, but on the way if coming from Seattle
