Goodell Creek Campground

This is an excellent campground site. Right on the Skagit! Fall asleep to the sound of the rushing water just a stones throw from your tent. Clean toilets, plenty of fresh drinking water, and an easy walk down to a small beach area.

Great location along the Skagit River with launch access. Campsites were spacious and private. No running water in restrooms, vaulted toilets. Bear boxes provided.

We didn't go. It was too smokey. Could not figure out how to cancel: day of web cancel was not allowed. Chat and call attempts to contact someone did not work.

Beautiful camp ground nestled in some rare old growth trees.

The river was beautiful and the campground was quite. The boat launch was fun for an icy dip in the river. One toilet was not available, but that was not a big deal.

Such a great campground! I was only here overnight, camped in my car to get up early and hike in the North Cascades. But I was so impressed by how clean the campground was and how quiet! It seemed close to the road, but you couldn't hear any road noise. My campsite was directly above the river and had incredible river access. My neighbors all kept coming by and saying I had the best river access site. Caveat: I drove from Vancouver, WA on a Thursday, checked in at 3pm, woke up at 4:45 a.m the next morning (Friday) to hike to Sahale Glacier Camp (and drove home the same day). I did not get to enjoy this beautiful campground or my incredible site, but I definitely hope to come back here someday when I have more time.

The campground was beautiful and the site were well secluded. The only drawback was that there were only pit toilets.

Great campground! We had the ones closer to the main road and truly had no issues with noise. It felt even more private than some in the loop because fewer cars would be driving by. This is a very clean and well maintained site, especially the vault toilets. Never seen a cleaner one. The campsite is close to nearby outdoor activities, and the raft launch with shelter and a couple grills was a nice spot to enjoy the riverfront - lots of shade everywhere. With a water spigot between every 2-3 campsites and a solid bear storage locker, this was a favorite spot for our group of 6. Most of the sites do accommodate 2 tents and 2 cars, but a handful would be tight. This spot is also close to a gas station, small restaurant and grocery store, and 1 mi from an EV charging station. Great spot! Huge thanks to the Rangers and Maintenance crew for keeping this place spotless and comfortable.
