What Guests Are Saying

Thousand Trails Paradise is set in a scenic, wooded area with access to satellite internet, making it a pleasant spot for camping. Many guests appreciated the friendly staff and clean grounds, highlighting the nice playground and nearby attractions like Mt. Rainier. However, some concerns included close camping spots, uneven lots, locked bathrooms at inconvenient times, and overcrowded amenities like the hot tub, which detracted from the overall experience for some visitors.

Very pretty, in the trees, still have access to satellite internet. Steep gravel roads but large camp ground. Very close camping spots but bug rig friendly. We're 42ft and did just fine. Decent child nose near the park, but nothing crazy.

Would give zero if possible. Firstly the campgrounds are not well kept. Secondly they lock the bathrooms at 8pm and the campers were forced to use FULL porta potties!!!!!!!!!! I’m not exaggerating the pottie was full, like poop touching your butt if you tried to use it full. Also I paid 60$ a night to camp and could not even relax in the hot tub because despite the written rules there were children from ages 2-10 taking the 100 degree hot tub over with no parents in sight. When I told the staff about the kids in the hot tub they did nothing at all and said there’s nothing they can do. Last year at this location! I would not suggest coming here because the staff and management does not care about their campers.

Not my favorite campground. Has some pretty good views but the lots are very uneven and very close together. We had to move four times to get a lot we could get leveled on. The pool, store, baths and laundry were all closed because of a water issue and we had to boil water (not their fault of course), just added to the overall disappointment.

The staff was very friendly and helped us move our campsites so my brother and I could be side by side. (This new reserved spots are difficult, especially when you can’t get ahold of anyone at the campground to ensure your site numbers are side by side) the RV locations are so close together and on slopped land making it crammed and no space to sit around a fire. If the sites weren’t so tight, we’d come back, but because it’s not ideal we won’t. The playground is nice. Grounds was clean. Cute farm animals for the kids to look at next to Thousand Trials. The larger body of water was nice and peaceful. The bathrooms were locked when we were packing to leave and my mother couldn’t use them. It was 11am, I don’t understand why they were locked, that’s never happened before at a location we’ve been to.

We enjoyed our stay. What we saw of the park it was clean. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We like our site being shaded, is was it was too small. We are learning the thousand trails system our Class A is 40 ft plus we tow our car. We did not know to up our link to 50 ft including our tow. Which at this park our 40 ft RV did not exactly fit on the spot they gave us. Park manager was great and wanted to do whatever to make our stay enjoyable. We only stayed two nights. Great location to visit Mt Rainier about a 1 hour drive. So we did not explore all this park had to offer. I would stay here again. It is hilly and narrow roads, but our 40 Ft class A fit on the roads just fine
