The walk-in sites were fantastic. Very clean, tidy, spacious, and beautiful. I would recommend bringing a little wagon with you to transit your gear, especially if you are in 14, 15, or 16. The host was friendly and helpful, the toilets were sparkling clean, and everything seemed well-tended to and tidy. Remember to bring plenty of water for cooking, cleaning, and drinking, and definitely come ready to swim in the beautiful water that is just a 5 minute hike away. I am in love with this campsite!

We love this campsite, site 09 west loop. The camp host this season, Jimi, was amazing. No cell service. Clean camp sites, the vault toilets are old/smelly but clean. There was a fire ban when we went, that did not appear on the county website but the host took the time to explain why and signs were posted everywhere. Great weather, perfect for swimming in icy cold water. Saw lots of crawfish, small fish, salamanders, birds and deer. 15 minutes outside of Yacolt WA, we drove into town one evening to get ice cream.

I am a repeat visitor, because it's such a beautiful small campground in a great setting for enjoying the Lewis River and the Falls. And I have to add: made all the better by this summer's truly wonderful host and service team. Never has it been so clean, so quiet, so well-managed in terms of communication, visible presence, positive vibes. They're the best!

Sunset Falls is beautiful, very clean (bathrooms are spotless and stocked), and you get to be right on a river perfect for cold plunging. Even checkout is nice and late.

One simple improvement would be to make sites 12 and 13 one group site. Until that happens, I recommend reserving both and inviting a friend because they are on top of each other with picnic tables a couple feet apart and nothing in between (though a living wall has been planted for future delineation).

Beautiful campground with some of the cleanest pit toilets i’ve ever seen. the only downside was that a lot of the sites weren’t very private, and kind of close together.

Awesome site. The waterfalls were beautiful, everything close together, and excellent access to the creek. Toilets were clean, and above all camp host was amazing.

we didn’t have any camp trips planned for the summer so we went online and sunset falls was available. It’s only about 45 min from us so we decided to go. It was so fun!! The falls and river access area is so much fun. Not crowded and easy to access in some areas. Feels like a hidden gem. The bathrooms were the vault toilets but they were always spotless! The host was on top of anyone coming into the campground so we felt safe. No service at all for phones but oh well
