We love this campground, and I won't tell you my favorite spot because then it might not be open next time. But, even better - the hosts this year are FABULOUS. They meet and speak to everyone. They helped me make an adjustment in my site. The outhouse is new, and it was Amazingly Clean - they cleaned it EVERY DAY! And they actually USE the park - we met them taking a walk with their dogs one evening.
Good things to do. Walk along the river. Walk in the river. Climb some rocks. Pick some salmonberries (or thimbleberries, or blackberries, depending on your time of year).

The host is very friendly, and he came to talk to us about the campground and welcomed us with suggestions. The campground was clean, quiet, and very close to the waterfalls. felt great staying there.

Such a beautiful campground. I’ve been going here with my husband since we were high school sweethearts. We get the same site every time and it’s always better than expected. Also, the camp host -Jimmy(?) was incredibly sweet.

The place is relaxing and beautiful; the water is clear and clean. It's close enough to still get back to the office; and far enough to not have internet service to really embrace nature and be present. Perfect place for some Eco-therapy and just reconnect with Nature; spend time with friends and family or just walk with your favorite companion/partner.

Beautiful and very well-kept campground. Our hosts, Cindy and Jimi were fabulous and we had a great time at the falls.

we didn’t have any camp trips planned for the summer so we went online and sunset falls was available. It’s only about 45 min from us so we decided to go. It was so fun!! The falls and river access area is so much fun. Not crowded and easy to access in some areas. Feels like a hidden gem. The bathrooms were the vault toilets but they were always spotless! The host was on top of anyone coming into the campground so we felt safe. No service at all for phones but oh well

Awesome site. The waterfalls were beautiful, everything close together, and excellent access to the creek. Toilets were clean, and above all camp host was amazing.

Beautiful campground with some of the cleanest pit toilets i’ve ever seen. the only downside was that a lot of the sites weren’t very private, and kind of close together.

Sunset Falls is beautiful, very clean (bathrooms are spotless and stocked), and you get to be right on a river perfect for cold plunging. Even checkout is nice and late.
One simple improvement would be to make sites 12 and 13 one group site. Until that happens, I recommend reserving both and inviting a friend because they are on top of each other with picnic tables a couple feet apart and nothing in between (though a living wall has been planted for future delineation).
