Many guests appreciated the prompt response from the office staff and the safety of the campground, with some reporting well-maintained roads. This is a great place to be able to set up especially with the location to the interstate for ease of the commute for my partner and I while staying in Fairmont. We were there for 6 months for work and grateful that we found the perfect spot! The business office was always prompt in response and we were given 2 spots (as was everyone in the campground) to accommodate for the tight fit. Roads were paved and appropriate for wide turns needed to get backed in. The campground was safe and never had any issue with our things being bothered while we were there. Any issues with maintenance was taken care of promptly and they took care of the entrance roads during the winter with their own equipment. I would definitely reserve a spot here again if needed in the future!

I made my reservation online, and paid extra to reserve a particular slot to make sure it was long enough for our camper. I called to confirm the reservation. Three weeks later, after driving several hours, we arrive to see our reserved slot is occupied. I called the office and was told our slot had been occupied for over a month!? She suggested a different slot and agreed to refund the extra I had paid to reserve particular slot. There was no way to make it work. The slot offered was shorter than our camper, with zero room for truck. I called back and asked for a refund. She acted as if this is an everyday occurrence and just how they do business. I do not recommend you make a reservation here or you may end up at Walmart. Apparently it is their practice to let you pay good money to reserve occupied slots and they just hope it all works out in the end, and if not their attitude is
“Oh well.”
The slots were generally smaller than advertised, and about half have absolutely no room to park the tow vehicle, including the one offered when ours was occupied. Our slides would not have been able to go out if we had been able to get in the offered slot. Our door is somewhat toward the rear which would have been hanging out in space over the embankment. Forget about rear stabilizers. They would have been hanging in space too
There are no signs to help you find the turn in.
I do not recommend

We’ve been camping for over 40 years and this is by far the worst place we’ve ever been in. We stayed there 2 years ago and marked it as a stay over one night place, close to the highway. It wasn’t too bad then. This year we called and paid for two nights. First mistake. There were weeds around the site and across the road. I don’t believe the grass, or whatever it is has been mowed or weedwacked all season. There wasn’t even a spot for me to let our dogs do their business. We went out for the day, got back and she had given our site to someone else! I called, she apologized and gave us the worst site on the planet. An old water filter, rocks all over the pad, command strips with hooks everywhere, an empty booze bottle, just trash. AND there was no way we could level our motorhome. Called again and were placed on the lower level down a ski slope hill. There are no amenities, no bathrooms, no table, no fire ring, nothing, because there is no room for anything. We’re done with this place. Never again.

Location is great when traveling. That is best thing I can say. They have taken 1 normal size campsite and turned it into 2! Choose between letting out a slide OR an awning because you cannot do both! If you are traveling… keep going.

I have more negatives than positives.. the only positive I found was beautiful views of the sunsets and sunrises.
Negatives:
*Constant noise. Interstate traffic, sirens and demolition/construction on the hotel.
* there's no office, you just have to call until they answer or decide to get back to you.
*just ignorant. Tried to put us in two different spots that we wouldn't fit in when arriving.
* very steep inclines just to enter the campground, switch backs and tight turns.
*wifi was so unreliable we got starlink just so we could have internet.
*spaces are on top of each other, maybe 3 feet of grass between spots.
*parking is a joke if all (gravel and paved) spots are full. Barely enough room to park a vehicle in front of your camper.
*extremely overpriced. Water, electric, sewer hookups and mediocre internet doesn't justify almost $700 a month.
