Policies & Rules
Deposit
- Card: Payments by card can be made on the website or through the checkin links via text an email.
- Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers, car dollies, tractors, ATVs or ATV trailers are permitted on a case to case basis. Storage fees may apply
- Failure to follow these guidelines may result in being asked to leave without a refund.
- 100% refund until 7 days prior to check-in. 50% percent refund 3 days prior. 24 hours and less prior to stay the reservation is no longer refundable. Note: All refund calculations exclude service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable
- Payment Details - Late Fees:
- Payments are to be made before or upon arrival. Rates can be found on AmericanWayRVPark.com. Long-term monthly guests are billed reoccurring each month on the same day of arrival (For example: If you arrived on the 15th of June, your next bill would be on the 15th of July). There is a 3 day grace period. All payments received after the grace period will incur late fees. Late fees = $20.00 per day.
General
- Checks: Checks to be made out to American Way RV Park. Please place the check in an envelope with name & lot#. Check can be placed in the dropbox at the office.
- Cash: Please place in envelopment with name and lot #. Cash can be placed in the dropbox at the office.
- All Motor homes, RVs, and Travel Trailers, must be in good working order and appearance.
- Mold, algae, dirt covered RVs must be cleaned.
- Please have all winterization skirting removed after the winter season
- Lot space surrounding RVs are to be kept neat and orderly.
- Please no overly excessive amounts of items and stuff stored on lot.
- Outside of your RV must be presentable to our standards.
- Space permitting, additional storage may be available for rent on the property
- In case of emergence, call 911.
- Cats must be kept inside
- Please be respectful of neighboring
- No lengthy running of generators in the park day or night.

Parking
- All RVs and motorized vehicles brought into American Way RV Park shall have current insurance and registration.
- All Motor homes, RVs, Travel Trailers, & Vehicles must be in good working order and appearance.
- All vehicles must be able to be moved by the guest within one day’s notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse access to any guest/s whose vehicle/s is/are deemed to be unacceptable.
- Two vehicles permitted per RV lot. If approved, a third vehicle may be allowed at an additional cost of $50 per month.
- Visitors of RV Park Guests are required to abide by the speed limit. Violators associated with park guests may impact the stay of park guests
- There are children and others throughout the park. Let’s be safe. The speed limit on Stoops Road (the paved road) is 15 MPH. The speed limit on the side roads (the gravel roads) is 10 MPH. This is to ensure the safety of park guests and will be strictly enforced.
- American Way RV Park is responsible for plowing the snow on the gravel roads. During snow accumulation please be sure to have vehicles parked to the side of RVs to allow for plowing.
Guests
- There are security cameras positioned throughout the park to help ensure the safety of all guests.
- Profanity or violence towards other guests or will result in immediate eviction from park.
- Please use common sense and be respectful of other park guests.
- Thank you for choosing to stay at American Way RV Park. The following is a list of park guidelines and policies. The purpose of the guidelines is to help create a safe and enjoyable environment for all park guests. Thank you for honoring and respecting your neighbors. - Guests are encouraged to register their stay online at AmericanWayRVPark.com. Registrations can also be done over the phone at 1(304) 850-8300
- Free WiFI is provided to park guests. Password is RVguest22
- Mail boxes can be provided to guests who are staying longer than 2 months. The mineral wells post office is located less than 1 mile away from American Way RV Park and can be used for mail delivery if park guest chooses. The Post Office address is 1259 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, WV 26150
- The purpose of the guidelines are to help create a safe and enjoyable environment for all park guests. Failure to follow park guidelines may lead to removal from the park. Thank you for honoring and respecting the property and your neighbors.
Safety
- Absolutely no illegal drug activity is permitted. This will result in immediate removal from the park.
- Trash can be thrown away in the dumpster behind the fence near the office building located at the entrance of the park.
- Small elevated fire rings are available along the back side of the office. The city of Mineral Wells does not permit any fires until after 6pm. Fires must be completely extinguished prior to leaving the area. Please return fire rings after temporary use.
Pets
- When outside, DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH and under the control of someone who can manage.
- Pets may not be left unattended.
- Guests are responsible to CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS and dispose of waste.
- There is a three-pet limit at American Way RV Park.
- No exotic or over-sized pets are permitted. This includes all reptiles or large birds.
- If given permission for a small pet pen, you are responsible for cleaning, mowing, and weed eating that area.
- As long as safe and non-disruptive, these stated “pet” policies do not apply to registered service animals
- American Way RV Park is not responsible for and will not be held accountable for any injury or damage caused by pets.
- Aggressive Breed Dogs are not permitted at the park. Aggressive Breeds include Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. This is a requirement set by American Way RV Park insurance coverage.
- Owners of barking/disruptive or aggressive dogs may be asked to leave the park
- Dogs are welcome at American Way RV Park. In order to help maintain safety of other guests within the park and to keep the park clean and enjoyable for all other guests, dog owners are required to follow “pet guidelines”. Dogs that are disruptive to the park and/or other guests may lead to the dog owners being asked to leave. American Way RV Park reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is not considered suitable to the serenity and safety of our guests.
- Management, staff and owners of American Way RV Park assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses of any kind. Please enjoy at your own risk. You agree as campers/guests to carry and maintain in full effect, adequate personal, health, property and liability insurance. Please report any problems with your site to the owners. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets. American Way RV Park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle. The Park is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Please keep valuables locked up. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.
Noise
- No loud and disruptive music.
- Quiet Hours 10:00PM to 8:00AM
- After Quiet Hours: No power tools, loud construction or other obviously loud activities
- Maintaining a non-disruptive and pleasant atmosphere at the park is a top priority. The park is to be an enjoyable experience for all guests. Guests who are loud, crude, disruptive, or taking advantage of the general park guidelines, or who do not contribute to a pleasant environment for others may be asked to leave and removed from the park.
