The rhododendron thickets around the campsites really made the camp more intimate and private. Loved the location, beauty, and relative peace and quiet of this particular campground

The host at the park seems to be hanging around too much as if we were going to do something wrong at a picnic with old people

Location was great for visiting surrounding areas. Facilities were clean. Staff were very pleasant. Level sites could use some work, but you are in the mountains. Nearby fishing area. Would love to come back in the spring. Drawback for length of time we stayed was no sewer hook up. I enjoyed the campground. Beautiful part of WV.

Very clean and cute campground. All sites are very shaded and woodsy feel. Hosts were amazing and brought the wood to our campsite. Very quiet campground even on Labor Day weekend. Only 10 minutes from Elkins where you can get any supplies that you need or dine out.

It was so wonderful to wake up in this beautiful campground and look up at the trees and enjoy the rhododendron. The skies at night were spectacular. The sites are spacious and well-maintained. RVs outnumber tents, but everyone was respectful. The bathroom are very well maintained - what luxury to have showers! The camp hosts even decorated the bathrooms for autumn and delivered firewood to our site ($8 a bundle). The only drawback is that there is no privacy at all between the tent pad in site 7 and the next site. I suppose this would be less of an issue for an RV since the driveway is hidden in trees.
