  • Check-in at 3pm, check-out by 11am; fees for early/late arrival without confirmation.

Vehicles & parking

  • All RVs must be functional and insured; inspections may occur.

Fees & deposits

  • Keep your site clean; a $150 fee applies for extra cleaning.
  • No outside or oversized trash allowed; a $15 fee applies for disposal.
  • Sewer connections must be sealed; a $50 fee for leaks.

Guests

  • We do advise all guests to use pressure regulators for water and surge protectors for electricity to protect your camper and your property.
  • Be courteous of other guests and ONLY use roadways and access paths to travel through the park. Walking or biking through other campsites is prohibited. Children who are reported walking through other people's sites will be considered too young to be off their campsites without a parent.
  • Bullying and harassing behavior of any kind is NOT tolerated; this includes threatening or using force against another guest. This behavior is grounds for immediate eviction from the property. Children who cannot play nicely with other children may be restricted to their campsites.

Parking

  • All personal property should be stored or locked up accordingly, including bikes, trailers, and vehicles. Personal property is privately owned, and Pipestem Camping will not be held responsible for any damage or loss to your personal property.
  • Only licensed drivers may operate gas-propelled vehicles in the park.
  • The natural beauty of West Virginia will leave you breathless. Trees and bushes are a big part of our park's beauty and natural protection from the environment, and they are not to be defaced or destroyed for any reason. Please do not nail anything into, carve into, break off, or chop down any trees within the park. There are many ways to safely use hammocks while protecting our trees.

Safety & rules

  • Guests are responsible for their conduct and that of visitors; supervision required for young children.
  • Service may be refused for violations; illegal drugs are banned, and alcohol must remain on-site.
  • Quiet hours from 11pm to 8am; be respectful of noise during this time.
  • No smoking or vaping in buildings; dispose of cigarettes properly.
  • Fireworks are not allowed in the park.

Safety

  • Children should be told NOT to throw sticks or rocks of any kind, including into the creek beds, on the playground, or on your site. Children who are reported violating these rules will be considered too young to be off their campsites without a parent. Throwing/kicking rocks that damage property on another site will be considered your resposiblity to repair.
  • Facilities may be temporarily closed for maintenance or other health and safety related issues. Please observe all signs posted!
  • Due to invasive pests and diseases that can hitchhike on firewood, bringing firewood into West Virginia from out-of-state poses a serious risk to West Virginia trees and environment. West Virginia utilizes federal and state regulations to prevent the spread by prohibiting the relocation of firewood both within the state and across adjacent state borders. Firewood is available for purchase at the store.

Pets

  • This is a family and pet friendly campground! The speed limit is 5 mph and will be strictly enforced by our Safety Officer. Speeding offenses will result in your loss of privilege to drive within the campground.
  • We are a pet friendly campground and welcome ALL well-behaved pets. Fencing is allowed when pets are supervised outside, and tethers must not extend beyond the limits of your site. We do NOT allow pets to be kept outside in crates at any time. The use of crates in your camper is perfectly acceptable.
  • When walking off your site, pets MUST be leashed and kept under control. A Dog Park has been provided for your use to allow your dogs the freedom of being off leash. Owners MUST always clean up after their pets, both on and off their sites. Any animal that shows overly aggressive behavior may be asked to wear a muzzle for the safety of our other guests and their pets.
  • Pets are not allowed in the bathrooms or laundry facilities, and no pet items should be washed or dried in our laundry machines.
  • Please do not place outside carpets on the grass. These items may be used on the patio/decks and graveled areas.
  • In agreeing to this, I acknowledge that any outdoor and/or water activities and/or exposure to the natural elements and animals can be dangerous and sometime result in injury and even death. I understand that water facilities contain inherent risks; animals and insects can threaten and infect or injure; exposure to the elements can cause hypothermia, sunburn, among other risks inherent in participating in camping, outdoor and water activities. In addition, I understand that alcohol and/or drugs do not mix safely with any outdoor activity and pose significant risk of injury or death if used. Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known and unknown, and I agree to hold Pipestem Camping LLC dba Pipestem Camping harmless for errors, omissions, acts or failures of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity within the campground.
