Snowshoe Campground

Lori called me the day before, set up the site #. No check in, just go to your site. Campground is only a couple years old, so no shade. Trees are in place but still small. One washer and one dryer $2.50 each with card reader! Nice.

Great facilities and would totally stay here again. Some room for improvement though. First, the bathrooms/showers were not cleaned frequently enough throughout the holiday weekend. Second, no hand dryers or paper towels. Otherwise, great!

Had few small issues that were a bit frustrating with the campground. By crazy chance I came across the owner in a common resort area. He was very understanding of the situation and explained the ways they have tried to sort the problems. It seemed as though he was interested in the criticism and provided compensation for the situation. Can’t always avoid problems but can always fix them. Will give it another go for sure

Our reserved site was taken when we showed up so had to find a new one at 4 am then move it yet again in the morning. No one answered our calls at regular business hours when we inquired about moving spots. Never got a refund or any recourse. Would not recommend.

Great campground. The private bathrooms are well designed, very clean and feel secure. George was very kind. He keeps the grounds looking amazing. Everything was great. The camp sites are large.
