What Guests Are Saying
Myran Park offers a beautiful camping experience with friendly hosts and well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and good access to the Red Cedar River for paddling and fishing. While some sites can feel cramped and the campground's activities are limited, the serene atmosphere and shaded sites enhance the overall experience. Despite a few minor drawbacks, many visitors highly recommend returning, especially for tent camping by the river.

Only "negative" is the campground nitrate level is high (posted clearly in the bathrooms) but not openly advertised anywhere else. I recommend that Dunn County put a banner at the top of the website. keep young families and pregnant moms safe please.
But the campground definitely gets 5/5 stars. One of the quieter campgrounds we've ever visited...even in the weekend. WiFi was nice to have. Clean bathroom. Very helpful host. Most of the sites have super nice seasonal campers, but there were plenty of spaces for us regulars. The river is right there and easy to access at the boat ramp. Mature sites, tall pines and oak trees. I think every site was shaded. Clean dump station. A couple of pavilions if needed. We had a great weekend !!

This is a decent little park with good campsites. There is a good ramp for accessing the Red Cedar River for paddling and fishing. There are two versions of the name of this park - Myran vs. Myron. It appears to me that the original name of the park was "Myran "when it was probably a private campground. It's now a county park, and all county signs spell it "Myron."

Such a beautiful place. If you are going tent camping I highly recommend spot 39, you are right on the river with a man made trail that leads down to it. Had to leave early because of a family emergency but I will for sure be returning in the future. The hosts were absolutely amazing.

Great campground - current hosts of campground(2026 season) are very friendly, nice and helpful. Not the best campground for activities wise and wish the dock was maintained a bit better and slightly larger. Chatek is about 16 minutes away and has a great beach along with reds bar eatery serving some delicious food and atmosphere.

Campspot said there was sewer, when we got there we figured out there was no sewer. it was a bit disappointing but ended up being okay because the bathrooms are nice. the spots are very cramped with trees i will say! it’s nice that it’s by the river and pretty.
