The sites are very clean and pretty big. The bathrooms/showers are also very clean and well kept. The camp host's are amazing! Always accommodating. We have stayed here multiple times this summer and never disappointed. It is truly a great campground and a great place to spend our summer. We love it here.

The campsite was fine, the path to the shoreline is a bit steep and rooted. Good campground. Clean, quiet.

Bathroom and showers facilities were not very clean. The shower had frogs, spiders and a lot of other insects in them. Other areas of the facility were even worse! the bathroom doors in the Group shower building area, had the paint carved in, this was extensive! Nothing looked like it had been cleaned recently.

The host was awesome. This is my favorite campground. It is quiet and my 8 year old grandson had a great time riding his bike and being down by the beach.

I was 14 the first time I camped here. 40 years later, Boulder Lake Campground is what I gauge other campgrounds against. Give me trees and a lake. I don't want to see what my neighbors are having for breakfast and I don't want to camp in a parking lot.
Boulder Lake Campground ticks all my boxes and more.

We love this federal campground. Not far from our home and the sites are immersed in the trees and more private than at some other campgrounds we have visited. The lake has clear water and the sandy beach is groomed to keep the weeds down. Having electricity and showers is awesome. My one suggestion would be to give the showers a fresh coat of paint to regenerate them and get rid of the mildew. Otherwise, keep up the great work of maintaining this campground!
