Campground as a whole was in great condition and Restrooms very clean. We stayed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and was surprised how many campers were there as well, estimating at least 25 campers.

I grew up on The River so it was wonderful even the trains brought back memories. We went to the museum and brewery and the winery. Brought home some great stuff.

I was very impressed with how clean the bathrooms and showers were. It is evident that the couple taking care of these facilities are doing a great job, thank you!

The park was clean and the restrooms were awesome. Nice hosts and very helpful. Loved the trains in one side and the river on the other.

"A Train-Lover's Paradise"
Clean facilities. Gorgeous sunsets & river didn't stink like a swamp. Trains run through your bedroom. No water at sites, but many are paved & level. Bats & geese abound.

Loved being able to sit in my campsite and watch the Mississippi River flow by. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of train traffic.

This park was very nice- concrete pads, drinking water spaced very conveniently throughout the park, flush toilets and very nice hosts. The trains were a little loud :(. I would suggest hosing down the showers with a hose once a day.

Nice clean campground. Bathrooms were good. Showers were good. Beautiful sunsets. Mostly adult campers, not a lot of kids seen.

As always, great week camping at Grant River!!
Mini trips to Platteville for Steve’s Pizza, lunch and ice cream at Scoops in Fennimore, met a friend in Prairie du Chein for lunch at Fort Morgan, great cheese curds at BrewTown Saloon in Potosi. Yes, we ate our way around the Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin.
Beautiful scenery in these hills! Then back to the wonderful campground with nice cement pads, fire rings, picnic tables and friendly neighbors.
Our fourth week this season and two more to come.
