What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

I enjoyed my stay at Grant River. The only problem was the bathroom facilities. The bathroom area was extremely cold
especially the shower area. There was a fan running constantly which caused the area to be very cold.

Wonderful place, very clean, paved roads with concrete pads. Restrooms were clean. Everyone was friendly. Sunset views over the Mississippi were fabulous.
Yes, the trains were loud and frequent but not a deterrent. You get used to them and find yourself waiting for the next. Best sites are on the river but there are no bad ones. We’ll be back!!!

The park is well cared for, clean, neat, and tidy- everything works as advertised, and the park personnel are experienced, knowledgeable, and welcoming in their approach to park users. We have returned to this particular park numerous times and the park and personnel have never disappointed. Kudos!!!!

Nice, level sites. Electrical hookup was fine, and water was close by, if needed. The two high-speed train tracks were in constant use, and very noisy, to the point of needing earplugs. Shower and bath facilities were above average, but not much hot water available for showers.
