Great place to camp. Clean and well kept. A bit close to the railroad which runs all day and most of the night, so don't expect complete quietness.

I loved this beautiful well kept campground on the Mississippi. The big mature trees are great and the sunsets are awesome!

This is our favorite campground and Sandy is always so helpful and gracious when we check in. Couldn't have a better person for registration. The campground is also very quite.

We only live about 3 mi from the campground. It is one of the best campgrounds that we have ever camped in. It is always kept up very well, the shower house and restrooms are always clean and the view of the Mississippi River is exceptional. With the paved roadway and the cemented pads, the Corps of Engineers has done a wonderful job .

It is a quiet campground and has a very clean shower house. The campground is right on the Mississippi River. The boat ramp at this campground is essentially useless unless you are putting in a kayak, The river is extremely shallow and mucky here; the channel is on the Iowa side of the river. If you have a boat of any size then you need to go to the Cassville boat ramp. There is a RR track right next door and it is a busy track; it wasn't a determent to our camping.

We had a site reserved but when arrived someone was at our site. It was resolved with no problems. This campground was very well managed and has a great view of the Mississippi River. Would highly recommend.

Grant River is a quite campground, even with the trains that pass by on the east. Camping spots are spaced so you can enjoy your outdoor privacy.
The town of Potosi is very nice. We visited the beer museum, and had a great sandwich. Potosi is less than 5 mi from the campground.
We also toured the Dickeyville Grotto, which was around 10 mi away.
