We're motorcycle riders and you can't beat South West WI for great roads. This has been our home base campground for over 20 years and hopefully many more. We now have a 38 ft 5th wheel toy hauler and have used a number of sites without any issues.
There are 3 routes into the campground. If you're pulling a camper, you might want to take the River Lane Road in from the west. It's a fun road from the east, on the motorcycles! We go in on Slazing Rd. BUT, it's not for the faint of heart with a camper!
We have US Cellular and the signal is weak.
Always well kept and the prior hostess was SUPER friendly and helpful.

I loved my stay at Grant River Campsite by the Mississippi River. My campsite was 66, which is a little on the hill, but I did not feel it much. Some are on more consistent ground closer to 66. However, the unblocked view I had made it all worth it
A few highlights above the site:
1. Most of the folks had RVs - Everyone was very respectful throughout
2. The river is very calm and a great spot for fishing
3. It was very calm and chill - The sunset from my spot was just great
4. There is an onsite fully functional restroom with a toilet and showers (At no cost)
5. Every campsite includes a picnic table with campfire setup
6. There is a cute little library (Perhaps the smallest I would quote)
7. There is a big hut-like area where a group can sit and have food
8. Very kid and senior-friendly - There is a small kid playground with slides and swings
9. The campsite is right beside tracks - On average, 3-4 trains were passing every night (By making big horns)
10. The town is close by
11. The staff were very kind and friendly
Phone Carrier: Verizon
Coverage Strength: (3.5) Good Coverage

Excellent sites. Trains added to the experience and only passed 2 times in the night. Great view of the mighty Mississippi! Easy drive to Mississippi RIver aquarium and museum. Potosi Brewery was a great side light

Campground was really nice, a little close to the train tracks (didn't bother me too much), the lake flies were a little annoying but otherwise was a good place.
