Campground was really nice, a little close to the train tracks (didn't bother me too much), the lake flies were a little annoying but otherwise was a good place.

We love Grant River!!
Cement pads, electric, water available and a dump. Peaceful, watch turtles traveling to lay their eggs, eagles, pelicans, orioles.
Always friendly neighbors.
We like to visit the small towns in the area.
Potosi Brewery, Mining Museum in Platteville, Army Corps Lock on the Mississippi in Dubuque.

Very nice view of the river. Lots of bugs in June. Specially the mayflies.

Outstanding, beautiful area, well maintained. We were in the tent only area and it was very peaceful. Pit toilets are clean and well ventilated. Shower and water toilets were clean and well kept. We kayaked the Platte and Grant rivers that are very close.

Great place to spend a few days camping along the Mississippi River. Liked that the sites are level and concrete pads with fire pit included. In addition, if you like trains, you will enjoy this area for sure LOL.
Site #49 is the best!
