Overall a very nice campground, though it does get busy on summer weekends. Walk-in sites could stand to be a little more wooded/private, as you can clearly see neighbors

Very nice campground. It was quiet and felt like no one was around us!

The site I was at and the dozen other sites that I checked out (while looking for a better location) when I arrived were not really suitable for tent camping. They were on extremely rocky ground. And I don’t mean pebbles I mean, sharp rocks, even with a tarp under my tent it was hard to walk around in my tent without shoes on.

Highland Ridge was a nice campground with clean bathrooms and a private campsite.

The park ranger is amazing. He shared some excellent information about the trails and the need to close the trails for the winter for work on the trails. Thank you so much for all of your hard work.
I am sorry that you have to deal with inconsiderate people in your work! I for one, greatly appreciate all you do to keep us safe on the trails!
It is a small park full of great beauty and I am blessed to have the opportunty to enjoy it.

Great spot for a fall camping trip. Beautiful scenery. Lots of hiking and biking trails within an hour. Campground is well cared for including the leaves being blown of the campsite prior to arrival. One of my favorite trips.

We Highly recommend campng here , the campground is so pretty and facilities are very clean and nice. a few sites are on a slope, just a heads up., and some of the sites are on the smaller side, and the measurements on the website seemed to be inaccurate. The campground hosts are so helpful and nice, and the Rangers are very polite and kind. Both patrol the campground often, which we appreciated. We can't wait to make reservations for next camping season.

My first time at this campground and found it convenient place to stay not far from the interstate.
