The site I was at and the dozen other sites that I checked out (while looking for a better location) when I arrived were not really suitable for tent camping. They were on extremely rocky ground. And I don’t mean pebbles I mean, sharp rocks, even with a tarp under my tent it was hard to walk around in my tent without shoes on.

Very nice campground. It was quiet and felt like no one was around us!

Overall a very nice campground, though it does get busy on summer weekends. Walk-in sites could stand to be a little more wooded/private, as you can clearly see neighbors

I had problems getting leveled but the ranger let me switch sites and the second one was easier to level. Love this Campground! It's scenic, has great trails and the showers are fantastic. My dog even got to meet a horse for the first time. Great experience@

Early season, weekdays. Very quiet and peaceful, except for one day of brutal winds. Lots of birds and a few deer.

We really enjoyed the trails. The trees weren’t fully leafed so we got plenty of sun. The camp sites were very far apart and the bath house was very nice and clean.
