Nice campsites that are fairly private and separated from each other. Nice bathroom and shower facilities too.

Lost one star though no fault of the campground... I chose a rainy time to go. The camp host came around and was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the roomy site. And the rest rooms and showers were kept very clean which was no small feat with the wet conditions. It was my first time out with the little camper I recently bought. I had no trouble backing it in to the site. Nice to find a little gem of a spot so close to the Twin Cities.

Upon our arrival the canopies of the trees created a wonderful shade from the sun. What a relief not to be in the open sun. The campsite was clean and ready for our arrival. Our neighbors were close enough to say hi but not close enough to have to share the picnic table with. While enjoying the many hiking trails I was overjoyed with the abundance of golden oysters I found to have with supper that night. These are invasive to our environment so please pick them all. The best time to shower is the am, otherwise hot water was hit or miss through out the day. We had friends stay in the accessible campsite right by the restrooms. This is one of their favorites as well with wheel chair accessibility It’s a beautiful quiet campground, I highly recommend it.

Nice, quiet campground with a lot of high canopy. Clean restrooms and good water. My criticisms would include that the hiking trails are partially overgrown.... well that is the only criticism. There were a lot of trails, and everybody had their dogs with them. The only watchout I would add, is if you rely on solar power, the canopy limits that usefulness.

Lots to do in the local area. Check out Cady Cheese, the best cheese curds around. Visit Crystal Cave to enjoy the cave tour, mini golf, hiking trails and gem panning. The Eau Galle Park has a nice beach and the lake is nice for kayaking and fishing.

Great place - perfect for families, cheap firewood down the road and good enough privacy.
