Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort of Door County

The campground was nice and clean and fairly big. The campsites were on the smaller end when in the forest areas and very shady. The campsites looked fairly large in the grassy area but not level.

As a parent, I loved how they had playgrounds all over. I think I counted 4 playgrounds spread out across the campgeound. They had 3 pools of different depths with a small 1 foot kiddie pool which was nice for the tots. There was mini gold but it charged per person from $2.50-5.50 a person depending on age.

The bathrooms looked clean but a little out of date and there was one point where there was no toilet paper in the pool bathrooms.

We have stayed at many jellystones now and this one only had activities on friday, Saturday and Sunday which stinked. They claimed they had activities a couple times a day during the week but the only one we ever saw was the nightly movie. There were a lot of kids, which was nice for my kids to have someone to play with.

Everything in the store was super expensive. Wood being $7.50 for a small bundle, $5 for a small slushy, $4 for a small bag of ice. I wish they would deliver wood or pick up garbage for you, something... but nope. I feel like this campground was a little pricey for a Jellystone experience on what they actually offered but decently priced if you go in knowing it's a basic campground. I would consider staying here again but bring more activities for my kids to do.

It is exactly like I remember 30 years ago. Fun activities and plenty to do for the kids. Peaceful on the weekdays. Avoid the dumpsters and trash cans.

The grounds are well maintained. Very secluded. Some of the facilities need some updating. My only complaint, if you could even call it that, is that they don't stock beer or coffee at the ranger station. If you want to relax and not be bothered, this is a great spot.

Very spotty internet. Very little for the kids to do other than the pool. Park is very dated. The water was not drinkable because it tasted terrible and had a strong smell. The few kids activities were only at a certain time and day. Stayed 4 nights but left the park each day because ther was nothing for the kids.

We just spent the 4th of July weekend in Jellystone Sturgeon Bay! It was our 1st time at this location. We have 2 young kids. It was so much fun for them. We spent the hot weekend in the 3 pools they have. The kids made friends. Our 5 year old made a hole in one at mini golf. They are dog friendly as well. We had an great campsite on the circle, right next to the big field. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were nice. The general store and goodie shop has everything you need. Activities and train rides all though out the day. We definitely would recommend this place for families. We also went down the street to the state park, for hiking.
