Postcard Cabins Wild Rose

This was our third time staying here for our anniversary, and it has truly become a tradition for us. We fell in love with this place the very first time we visited, and it still holds a special feeling every time we return.

This year, we noticed there seem to be more cabins than before. In the past, it felt extremely quiet and almost completely private, but during this stay, we could see several neighboring cabins nearby. It wasn’t a negative experience, just slightly less secluded compared to our previous visits.

The bathroom in our cabin was actually the largest we’ve had so far, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the kitchen setup felt a bit incomplete at first. After we contacted staff, they quickly brought us an extra pot and scissors, which we appreciated.

We also noticed changes under new ownership. Previously, items like tea and coffee were not included, but this time they were complimentary. The overall price is higher than it used to be, but still reasonable considering what’s included.

Even with a few changes, the peaceful and romantic atmosphere is still very much there. It continues to be a meaningful place for us, and we will most likely return again next year to celebrate.

We stayed here for two nights. The cabins are located in the forest, and we saw deer walking around several times, which was a really nice experience. If you drive just one or two minutes deeper into the forest, you can see even more deer.

Before check-in, we decided to bring both our dog and our cat. The staff prepared dog treats, a bowl, and waste bags. There was also a small welcome note for our puppy saying something like “Welcome, puppy” and that they were happy to have her stay here. They likely assumed we had two dogs, which is completely understandable, and it wasn’t an issue at all. We brought separate treats for our cat anyway, but the overall pet-friendly attitude was very appreciated.

On the second day, they asked if we needed a refill of supplies, even though it was included in the stay. We declined, but it was nice that they checked. We also noticed security driving through the area a few times during the day in a red pickup truck, which made us feel safe.

The property is very clean, snowy, and well maintained. Roads and paths were cleared, and everything looked neat and organized. Inside the cabin, everything was clean and ready for our arrival. There is a thermostat to control the heat, which was very convenient.

The cabin has everything you need: bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishes, and utensils. Snacks like oatmeal, popcorn, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and cream were also provided. There are board games, cards, books, a radio, and a Bluetooth speaker.

The only small thing missing was more hangers. Since we arrived with two adults, a dog, and a cat, it wasn’t very predictable, so we used chairs instead, which was totally fine.

Overall, it was a great stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and we really enjoyed our time here.

I had an absolutely amazing experience! The cabin with its big windows in the forest was just magical. The customer service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was so peaceful, romantic, and unique — a perfect escape from the world. What impressed me most is that everything was so thoughtfully prepared: you’re surrounded by nature, yet you have absolutely everything you need. From firewood and lanterns to matches and all the little essentials — it was all there. You don’t need to bring a thing, just come and enjoy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly unforgettable!

Great location for a weekend getaway with my partner. Everything we needed was already at the cabin (aside from food). The cabin itself was clean and orderly. The location was very quiet and provided us with the perfect mix of modern amenities and camping experiences. I highly recommend Wild Rose Postcard Cabins!!

My senior dog and I had a lovely time! The floor was great for her, which is hard b/c she slips on pretty much any surface other than carpet. The setting was fabulous. That big picture window is even better than you imagine!

I did get charged for something I didn't use and they were quick to help me get it refunded. Their customer service is exceptional and w/ speedy replies.

Tips: it's gravel at your site, so bring something soft for your animals! And don't forget a tweezers - ticks abundant!
