Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park

I don’t write many reviews but feel this is one I’ll take a little time to write. First off this is not a kid friendly campground. This is quiet and laid back. No hustle and bustle, no pools, no play area for kids. This is for adults who want to rest and relax. The people who we greeted us were very friendly. Also when we arrived later in the afternoon they were going to be gone for the day so they just left our camping info taped to the door and allowed us to setup and trusted we would pay the next day. They also called me before they left to be sure I was still coming. The campground was very clean, the bathrooms were very clean, showers had hot water. Even though we were on full hookup my wife and I went and used the shower so we could just get cleaned up without waiting for each other to shower in the camper and get to bed after a long day on the water. Also I have a no pooping in the camper rule unless it’s an emergency. And the best part is the camping rates. Very affordable considering you are in the Dells. One reason I stayed here was because of the reviews so I hope my review helps people decide if this is the place for them. As long as what you’re looking for is peace and quiet this is the best place for you. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay at Country Roads! It was super quiet and clean. The owner was very friendly and check in was easy. It was really close to all the activities in the Dells and it was close to a Walmart and gas. It's definitely big rig and dog friendly. We especially loved that this RV park was for "older kids" and there were no little kids running around screaming! It was so relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!

Large, quiet, RV park only a few miles from the convention we were attending in Baraboo. We checked into the office with Faye and she escorted us to our site. Travel to our convention was super easy as well as to nearby shopping. We had planned to enjoy four nights at Country Roads but had to leave early due to a medical issue. The staff was very understanding. We would definitely return to Country Roads!

We loved this park. Sites are wide and maintained. The entire park is beautiful with flowers and decorations. Bathrooms are pristine. There is a small area with refreshments in the office. Staff are super nice. We actually extended our stay by a couple weeks due to this park and area. Walmart and restaurants are very convenient. Great cell reception.

Without a doubt the worst campground customer service I have experienced. They do not have an online reservation system – and that’s ok - I have made reservations at many that don’t with little/no issues. I understand having that system is an expense. The site says to call or email, so I sent an email for a one-night stay in July 2026. I provided the date along with my RV info and type of site I preferred. I received an email response rather quickly ( a day or two) that a site was available, but they needed a home address and additional information. Over the past month I reached out via email (4 times) and phone calls (4 times) to provide the information they requested and provide credit card info so I could confirm my stay. The last and only response I received was almost 3 weeks ago – “I will contact you later”. No timeframe – just “later”. Most people would take that to mean later that day or maybe later that week. It’s been three weeks since they said ‘later’, so I sent another email asking if there is a convenient time to call. Nothing. I booked a reservation at another campground – a little longer drive than I would prefer. Normally I would shrug and move on – but the customer service was so poor it deserved a review.
