What I liked about this place was that it was family owned and that it had a lot to offer. When I say a lot to offer it has a pool, splash pad, jumping pillow, and a playground. To my surprise the jumping pillow was free, most places expect at least a wrist band to use them. On top of that they have a very nice camp store that also has ice cream and an arcade that most of the games offer tickets to redeem for prizes.

When we arrived for check in, everything went smooth. We found our spot which was well marked. At check in I was told it would be easy to back into but upon arrival it was a very narrow site that has a slight incline. The site also was not even close to level. I had to use all the leveling blocks I had plus some 2X4's to get the camper level. It also made it very hard to get into the site as now the step up into the camper was about 3 feet in the air.

The bathrooms were clean all weekend, the shower provided hot water, and the place was quiet most of the time.

The pool was really nice but the water was so cold we couldn't spend more that 30 minutes in it before we were frozen to the bone. The splash pad was even colder. One of the kids at the pool told us to go run through the splash pad before going in the pool as then the pool water would feel warmer.

They also advertise that they have free wifi. What this means is you are free to go find wifi elsewhere. Every time I connected it said no internet available. I even tried while sitting on a bench outside the main office and still could not get connected.

Overall it was a good birthday weekend and we had a couple nights of great campfires.

Bathroom is ridiculously dirty and always clogged, out of toilet paper. Sites we had were grassy. Pool good size but was very full and kids jumping into pool which was unbearable to enjoy.

Seems like a once nice place that's slowly aging. The positives: Great location, friendly staff, nice heated pool and fun splash pad, nice office store, quiet sleeping. The negatives: lack of facilities upkeep, lots of little things that are not being kept up when broken or worn out. Seems like the staff or owners are tired or overwhelmed and things are starting to fall through the cracks. It's a pity because we really enjoyed our time here.

Staff was friendly and the campgrounds were relatively quiet. A lot of the spots in the middle of the campground are uneven and need new gravel, our spot was basically sandy soil and sloped upwards making the sewer hookup useless. The showers were clean but the temperature fluctuated from hot to cold. The pool was nice but is in need of some updates, there were quite a few tiles missing. Half the dryers were out of order. We had a great time and our negatives are pretty minor.

I have been camping here with my family since very little. Just checked in again this past weekend as an adult now with my own kids and it brought amazing memories. Minor but much needed upgrades but layout was EXACTLY the same. I will be staying here every summer dells stay. Very close to downtown you could literally walk there. Short drive to walmart for your convenience. Bathrooms were clean for the most part for a campsite I would wish the shower walls would be cleaned a lot of wear to it. But every time I went in trash was taken out nothing was on the floor obviously muddy floors in the bathroom but what can you do. Warm showers you did have to push to have the water come out no way to adjust the temp of the water but was nice for my kids and I. The only down part I can say is while everyone showers the water temp changes quickly from cold to warm then back to cold. There is only one shower that's pretty consistent and I would wake up extra early to get first dibs, has outlets in bathroom for your convenience. Has a fabulous game room. Never used the laundry room but went to check it out and looks very well put together.
