Windy Waters at Eagle Creek

We spent the summer at the park. It’s quiet and in a great location for fishing. We had no issues with utilities, although Verizon phone reception was spotty. Campground WiFi was pretty good, but we mainly used our Starlink. They are expanding the park and had just finished running utilities to about 12 sites behind the park (attached photos). Laundry was $1.75 to wash and $1.00 to dry. Bathrooms/showers were always clean. Julie is hands down the best park owner you’ll ever meet.

Julie (owner) is super pleasant, helpful and full of info about Windy Waters in Alcova, WY and the area. She helped us (while we were on the road) confirm and navigate to correct location, gave specific suggestions on what to do & where to go. Campground is pristine and well cared for. I luv the horseshoes holding the fence together!

We had a wonderful stay at Windy Waters RV. From the moment we arrived, Julie and Steve made us feel like family. Their hospitality, kindness, and genuine care for their guests really set this campground apart.

The campground is well cared for, peaceful, and a great place to relax. It's obvious the owners take pride in what they've built and truly enjoy getting to know the people who stay there.

If you're looking for an RV park where you'll be welcomed with open arms and treated like more than just another guest, I highly recommend Winday Waters RV. We look forward to coming back!

Windy Water RV Park is your go to fly fishing destination. The park is set up with three different areas (some pull through and back in) thatbwill accomodate any size. The wifi work reasonably well, although we primarily used Starlink. The facilities consisted of two restrooms and 2 washers and dryers. There is plenty of fishing in the surrounding area with Greys Reef (5 minute drive), Miracle Mile (45 minutes) and the After Bay ( right across from park). The owners are great. They will meet you at your spot upon arrival and introduce themselves. We have enjoyed our last two summers (4 months each). You will not regret your stay. Each year Steve and Julie are completing updates. The water pressure, sewer and power are without issues.

Conveniently located off Hwy220 and close to Casper. The park is QUIET! Spots are spacious and easy in/out (important for our 46’ toy hauler!). Close fishing on the North Platte, fed from the reservoir (cold water!). The laundry/bath house is clean. Julie was a great host!! We’re definitely planning to come back!
