Hunter Campground

Camp hosts Stan and Libby are so welcoming and helpful, and they know the trails and where to steer you for a great ride. I love this camp and visit a couple of times every year. The only negative this August was that the manure bin was overflowing. It desperately needed to be hauled off. As a result, there were more flies than usual. I know that's the Forest Service's responsibility and doesn't reflect on the camp hosts. Hopefully, the Forest Service will allocate the funds needed to manage the manure as it has in the past.

Libby and Stan, the camp hosts, are the whole reason we came to this campground. Not only do they take awesome care of the grounds, they’re knowledgeable about the area and the trails and will help you navigate the best trails for you and your horses. Absolutely love Libby and Stan. Turning this campground over to concessionaires will be a massive mistake.
