What Guests Are Saying

South Fork campground offers spacious sites with stunning views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a top choice for campers. Guests appreciate the attentive and friendly camp host, Debbie, who maintains the bathrooms impeccably. The nearby trails and creek add to the campground's charm, although some sites are close together, and there are occasional concerns about fire pit maintenance.

Wonderfully quiet campground along a creek. Great Lake just east of the camp for fishing and kayaking

Camp host was wonderful, gregarious, and very helpful! We stayed at two sites at South Fork, and both were great. Small campground, not too busy. The walk-in tent sites were nice to get away from the RV generators. Would absolutely camp here again!

Better signs letting you know you are close to the campground and maybe a physical address for easier navigation via phone maps. Other than that it was a nice campground and clean vault toilet.

This little campground is now one of my favorites! Very friendly host helped us out when our lighter went dry. River running through the CG drowns out all noise from other campers and their generators (and ours). Big hill in back with scrambling rocks was super fun for me and my cat. Beautiful, secluded area. Hwy 16 was absolutely gorgeous -- I had no idea what was in store for us in the Big Horn NF, but now I will certainly be back.

Stayed at site #3. Clear creek is just behind the picnic area. Vault toilets close by as well water. Plenty of sun to maintain the batteries via solar panel. Our host Deb was great. Hwy noise was minor and usually jake breaks or Harley's. Will stay here again for sure.
