Hoop Lake Campground is located 35 mi south of Mountain View, WY at an elevation of 9 ft. It’s located in the Uinta Mountains on the shores of its beautiful mountain lake namesake. Campers are drawn to the area to boat and fish in the lake and to hike or horseback ride on the many trails.

As stated before. We have been coming to Hoop Lake since 1979. A family destination at least once a year. Oh the memories.
The camp hosts ,, Bruce and Elaina were professional and kind. It rained a lot while we were there. They checked on us often making sure we were safe and ok. Pit toilets were clean with freshers in place.

Number 23 says it will hold a 42 ft. trailer, because of the way it's set up to turn into, I could not even get my 28 ft trailer in. Our first night had to be spent outside the campground. Luckily the Campground Host was really nice and helpful. He showed us a campsite that would be empty the next day (Saturday) that we could occupy. After our second move we enjoyed our stay.
