The campground was a comfortable place to set up our tent. We only stayed one night. Bathroom was fine, no showers. Quiet and convenient to Jackson and Grand Tetons.

Hello! This is a beautiful campground with very nice and informative staff. The view are beautiful and I'm please we were able to access the Gros Ventre River. My only complaint is limited tent setup locations. We ended up having to set up our tent on the paved parking area. Also, some folks did not obey the quiet hours and kept generators running until very late in the night:/

Fabulous birdwatching right in our site! Loved the tall cottonwoods and the moving shade during the day. Quiet nights. Excellent advice from the registration folks. Walk down to the river!

Very well located near Tetons and within a couple miles of the pathway. Our space was very small and on the main road in the campground.

I recently stayed at this campground, and unfortunately, the negatives heavily outweighed the positives. If you are tent camping or rely on campground amenities, you might want to look elsewhere.
The Cons:
Terrible Facilities: The amenities here are poorly maintained. The dishwashing station was particularly gross—the design and upkeep made it feel more like a giant flushing toilet than a clean place to wash cooking gear.
Inconvenient Layout: The trash bins are located incredibly far from the actual campsites. Disposing of garbage or maintaining a clean camp is a massive chore because of the walk.
Rocky Ground: The tent pad area was packed with rocks just beneath the surface. It was nearly impossible to drive stakes into the ground without bending them or struggling to find a clear spot.
Bottom Line: Between the subpar dish wash station and the rough ground, it wasn't a comfortable stay. They really need to upgrade their facilities and clear out the rocks on the tent sites.
