Campground staff were super friendly and the site itself was perfect. The strict 10pm quiet time was perfect for resting/sleep after long hikes!

Gros Ventre Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained location with friendly staff, clean restrooms, and easy access to the nearby river and wildlife, making it ideal for campers. Many visitors appreciate the campground's peaceful atmosphere, spacious sites, and convenient check-in process. While some sites may have rocky terrain and the lack of showers is noted, the overall experience is positive, with many recommending it as a great base for exploring the Grand Tetons.

Wonderful stay for two weeks! We staying near the amphitheater and our only complaint is there is no policing on the speed limit. MANY vehicles would fly by all times of the day and night. Very concerning for safety.

Of course the campground is fabulous. But my comment is in regards to the staff. We had never camped at Gros Ventre before. Staff was so helpful in making our stay so enjoyable. We wanted to extend for 1 day, and the staff was able to
make that happen for use. Hold onto these people!!!! The are so kind, helpful, and willing to make an effort to assist campers there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The park hosts were very helpful and helped us find another camper site so we could stay another day. The ranger programs at night were very informative

Campground was great, our site was wonderful, camp hosts were very informative and we even saw a moose munching on the willows by the river! Grand Teton is my happy place!

Great location... But if you are in a tent - try and get the 'tent only' loop. The larger campers/trucks were often diesel and so loud.

Love this campground. We had 3 moose walk through our loop one morning. Also saw a Bull moose on the river one evening. The evening chats at the Amphitheater were good too. Great campground!
