Gros Ventre Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained location with friendly staff, clean restrooms, and easy access to the nearby river and wildlife, making it ideal for campers. Many visitors appreciate the campground's peaceful atmosphere, spacious sites, and convenient check-in process. While some sites may have rocky terrain and the lack of showers is noted, the overall experience is positive, with many recommending it as a great base for exploring the Grand Tetons.

Came here during a winter storm in early May, pitched my tent in the dark and got snuggled up just trying to stay warm through the night. Woke up to an absolutely beautiful view of snowy mountains with a picture perfect sunrise.

We went early in the season. There were moose in the campground. We enjoyed their company from a safe distance although we saw them them several times. The bathrooms were clean and staff was professional. It was a quiet stay. Mother Nature wasn't cooperative with our plans to kayak as the lakes were frozen over. We got some good bike rides in between snow storms. We will return again in the fall!

We stayed at Gros Ventra Campground for 3 nights while visiting Grand Teton National Park. We arrived later in the day and were greeted by several very friendly employees and given all the info we needed for our trip. We drove to our campsite and were greeted by two moose that were grazing in the area. The campsite and restrooms were clean and perfect for our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Over all a good campground, we had wildlife in and around the campground. The one down side the "sink" where you dump your gray water, smells awful. I understand why that is, just a warning for those who are sensitive to those things.
