Fremont Lake Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with clean facilities and helpful campground hosts, making it a favorite destination for many visitors. The campground features spacious, private sites, easy access to the lake, and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and recreation. However, the access road has significant potholes that require attention, and some site descriptions may not accurately reflect their capacity.

We stayed at Fremont Lake in late September so there was no water or trash pick up, but we were only there one night. Beautiful setting and very nice paved sites in one loop, right on the lake. Our neighbor did run a generator the entire time we were there, so that did take away from the natural beauty. Otherwise, a very nice campground.

Really nice campground. Clean and well maintained. We’ve stayed here multiple times and keep coming back. Good for kayaking on beautiful Fremont Lake.

Our campsite had a pristine view of Fremont Lake, was very clean and easily accessible for our 23’ camper and side by side. Very close proximity to the boat ramp and sandy beach. Camp hosts were very friendly!

Great sites among the trees, many with views of the lake. If possible, choose a site with is ~not~ next to speed bumps on the campground roads (unless you want to hear every bit of traffic hitting them).

We love this campground! The host, Lynn, has been there the past 4 years we visited & she’s awesome! Very attentive to the campsites. Both Lynn & other host, Laura are hard working, friendly, accommodating hosts!

Great boating. Perfect weather. There is also hiking in the Wind Rivers or hike up some runs at White Pine Ski resort.

We had a great experience camping at Fremont Lake campground before our backpacking trip in the Wind River Range. The campground is a 15 minute drive from Pinedale, 30 minutes from Elkhart-Polecreek trailhead. Campsites are well spaced out. Fremont Lake is very pretty. Water and toilets are a short walk from any campsite. Would definitely camp here again.
