Fremont Lake Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with clean facilities and helpful campground hosts, making it a favorite destination for many visitors. The campground features spacious, private sites, easy access to the lake, and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and recreation. However, the access road has significant potholes that require attention, and some site descriptions may not accurately reflect their capacity.

Clean latrines and very scenic. Be aware that the campsite map online is out of date so some of the site numbers are inaccurate. Also be aware that the size descriptions are also not always correct so it may be an issue getting an RV into some of the small sites.

Love this campground. Very frustrating that most of the sites show reserved and no one occupying them. The best camp host I’ve had in many years. Very accommodating at trying to make sure we found a place to stay. Clean restrooms and always enough TP.

Wonderful camp site, specular views and easy access to the Wind River Range. I was honestly shocked by how quite it was, simply amazing.

What a nice oasis in the middle of some very dry terrain! Springs running throughout the campground. Very clean and well maintained with lots of shady campsites.

We have made Fremont Lake Campground a priority for a camping experience for many years. We have a couple of favorite sites that we now can reserve ahead of time and get when we camp there. We chose a double site this time as we had a couple of friends join us to camp that first week of August and even invited a few friends from Pinedale to come out and join us in a barbecue. All of us but one are in our 80's and we had a delightful time and grateful for some shade trees as the days were very hot in the middle of the day. We had alot of visiting golden mantle ground squirrels in our site as well as a doe mule deer which all was very entertaining. I would say for other visitors...make it a point to take a refreshing dip into Fremont Lake as it is the deepest lake in Wyoming!!!

Site #12 was too small for our 26 ft trailer - - this should be noted on the reservation site.
Campground host was VERY helpful in getting us into a First Come First Serve spot. Luckily one opened up close to the other family in our party. The campground is nice and the host is icing on the cake. Give her a raise.
