Deer Haven RV Park

Amazing RV park, the owner was amazing and gave lots of information on activities around the city/RV Park. Very well maintained, full hook ups. Loved seeing all the Deer come by the park and the river. Real Gem of a place ! The Snowy Range mountain is a short drive and also beautiful, lots of hiking and lakes.

Our 5th wheel stay at Deer Haven in Saratoga, Wyoming was outstanding. The park is located on the North Platt River with views of the mountains as well as an easy walk to town.. The road through nearby Snowy Range is curvy, beautiful and full of hiking and fishing possibilities. The park is very well maintained and everyone is friendly and helpful. We will return.

What a beautiful campground...excellent service, starting from getting the reservation then arriving! Pam was a great host and very accommodating to anything we needed. The campground is very well maintained and the scenery, along with the North Platte River, was breathtaking...you will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Deer Haven. The grounds were meticulously kept and the owners were very nice and sent great instructions for our arrival. It was also a great place for our dog.

We spent 5 nights in a river front site. My brother & his wife were in the site next to us. We grew up in Saratoga so were pretty familiar with the area. Overall we had a nice time and found the Park to be just what we needed. Utilities were as expected and in the correct locations. Wifi was a bit wimpy like most RV parks, but cell service is good all over town. Wifi wasn't a big enough issue for me to break out my Starlink.
We enjoyed the public grassy area by the office playing cornhole and sitting with the dogs. We didn't use the public firepit but it looked nice too. The furniture and cornhole games could use a little TLC, but were functional. A little sand paper and varnish would really help. We had a couple of really windy Wyoming trademark days and the office area provided a little shelter from the wind and blowing dust, animals, small cars and an occasional witch on a broom. The City had a spray plane spraying for mosquitos a couple of the mornings so the mosquitoes were really ticked off after that, but MUCH less of a problem than 50 years ago when I lived in Saratoga.
The campsites had a bit of grass, but were pretty dry and dusty so the well watered grass by the office was great for humans and dogs. I didn't think to borrow a sprinkler to water the grass in our site, but would imagine that could be possible?
Like all RV parks, there were LOTS of dogs. We have two labs and my brother had a 9 week old lab pup. Everyone in the park was very considerate and kept their dogs on leashes. There are no potty bag dispensers which was surprising and would have REALLY made life easier for those of us who are responsible pet owners. We've stayed at the lake in the past and Deer Haven is much more comfortable.
