We were greatful for this parks location. It was near friends for easy visiting and near enough to Saratoga for a quick trip for groceries.
The only complaint would be that the grass/weeds around the campsites was quite tall. Sitting outside was not comfortable at all due to having to walk thru the tall grass to the picnic table and around the site. Weed-eating the site would have made it more comfortable.

It was stated that drinking water would be available, but all of the faucets were locked. There was no signage or communication of this either on-site or prior.

Quiet campground in a beautiful area. Peaceful evenings and mornings with lots of trees and the occasional deer wandering near the campsite. Very few nighttime bugs in late June/early July but there were a lot of yellowjackets in the mornings. Didn’t see a nest nearby but make sure to have your EpiPen with you if you have an allergy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’m looking forward to camping there again!

Great location near terrific hikes and views. Vault toilets were clean. Water wasn’t on but we were prepared. Our site (10) was pretty bad and wasn’t good enough for our 27’ trailer (length, angles, and slope). We ended up doubling up with friends on their large site. (12). Other sites had inadequate angles to get into as well (1).

We liked our stay very much. Odd that the water was shut off but on our last day we found out the chlorine was to high. We didn't need water but I would imagine many of the tent campers did. There was no sign explaining what was happening or where water could be obtained. also some sites had rock near the rv pad. That would be nice in all sites as it was very dusty. Otherwise the campground was clean and the trails around the perimeter were a nice surprise.

Overall, a good campground, with a great host. The potable water looked unfit to drink although I am sure it was fine. The color was off. We only used it for washing.
The bathrooms were always clean.
Know that there aren't a lot of sites with tree cover.
