A pleasant time in spite of the very warm temperature on several days and reoccurring thunderstorms on several nights.

We were with a group of 4 other RV's and stayed 3 nights in Site #3. Others in the group were repeat visitors to this campground and stayed a total of 7 nights. Nice campground with plenty of room between spots for privacy. Ten Sleep Creek flows along the eastern perimeter of campground and can be heard in the quiet of the night. Site #3 is probably the closest site to one of the outhouses and potable water pump stations which was covenant, and foot traffic by other campers utilizing the facilities during our stay was not noticed or a problem. Bathrooms were 9 out of 10 for cleanliness and overall condition of the grounds were awesome. Hats off to the campground host(s) - great job! FYI - no cell coverage for T-Mobile unless you have a satellite plan...

Was about 85 degF during the day for most of our visit and the flies were out in force which is apparently is uncommon for Boulder Park per our friends that have been going there for several years. Maybe consider having screens or yard guard on hand if weather is going to be in the hot side during your visit. Mosquitos were non-existent....

On the "could be better" side of the coin, the trash receptacle chutes are on the small side and shoving a full tall kitchen size is a challenge but not impossible if you hold your tongue right :). Unfortunately, the larger dumpsters available on site were locked so if you if you end up with a larger trash bag there was nowhere to get rid of trash unless you catch the campground host or down size your trash to fit into the smallish chutes. Also, this campground is within ear shot of Highway 16 and it wasn't uncommon to hear semi-trucks and "Jake Brake" noise as they descend down the hill into Ten Sleep after dark and in the early morning....

Overall experience was good and recommend if your in the area....

The camp host was not helpful when I asked her about switching spots. The lock was broken on the men’s bathroom.

This is the fourth year we’ve spent part of our summer vacation at the Boulder Park Campground. It’s always exceptionally maintained and generally the other campers and quiet and respectful, and the campground host is always helpful. It’s one of the more beautiful places we visit and we’re so grateful to have the opportunity to camp and watch the wildflowers and birds at this special spot!

Very nice campground along Tensleep Creek. It’s wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of cascading water. Easy trail stating in the camground that is the remains of an old road, and follows the creek downstream. Spotted a moose just up the road the first evening we were there.

This was a beautiful, peaceful campground. The sites were spaced enough apart for privacy, but in mid-June it was not half full. The road from Buffalo is a little steep if you are pulling a trailer.
