Deb is a great host. When the water pump went down, she offered bottled water to campers. She was also a good source of information about the surrounding areas. She's a keeper.
Also, the camp grounds were in good order.

This campground is the absolute best. The camp host Deb, is what makes this place so amazing. She keeps a very clean campground, she goes out of her way to make you feel at home. This area is amazing with wildlife all around you. It’s like heaven on earth. Highly recommended.

The campground is small but nice. We didn’t enjoy our stay and left a day early. The area and host were good it was too much traffic. Non stop people coming to use the bathrooms and throwing out trash. They were not staying there.

Drive 21 mi northeast of Ten Sleep, Wyoming, on US Highway 16; then go 3 mi north on FSR 27. From Buffalo, Wyoming, travel west 42 mi on US Hwy 16 to FSR 27 (at Deer Haven Lodge), turn right onto FSR 27 and go 3 mi north to campground.
Island Park Campground is accessible via US Highway 16, located approximately 21 miles southwest from Ten Sleep and 42 miles east from Buffalo.
