Verynice campsite. We were impressed at how clean the restrooms are and how nice the campsites are. Will definitely recommend to others! Great place to use for day hikes or just stay here for a few days. Beautiful area.

We're from Minnesota, and this was our second trip to Lakeview Campground. We love it! Our family is very active, and the area has something for everyone - hiking, fishing, kayaking, OHV trails. Tons of wildflowers, and both visits we've had moose coming through. Fun to see!
The campground is quiet and clean. The camp host, Sally, kept the outhouse immaculate! (Not exactly the case with other outhouses around the lake.)
One thing to note is that we had no cell service through T-mobile, and it was AWESOME!
When our kiddos (5 of them - teens, and pre-teens, and a blended family at that) found out during the first trip in 2019 they were extremely disappointed. However, they played dice games, cards, cornhole and croquet, and had a blast. They all got along (for 8 DAYS) and said it was the best trip EVER! That says a lot!
We'll be back.
Thank you!

Beautiful site - we stayed in the tent only sites down closer to the lake. Campground host was delightful, pit toilets were the cleanest I have ever used - we spend a lot of time in Forrest Service/NPS campgrounds, so I don’t say that lightly.

Great campground! Beautiful campsite overlooking the lake. Camp Host was very nice and helpful.
Clean bathrooms, and water near the campsite. To top it off we had a bull moose walk thru the campsite!!
