Beautiful campsite with quiet, private plots. Very friendly host who personally greeted me upon my arrival to the site, and was knowledgeable about local history. I would definitely stay again!

Shasta, the host was very helpful but this is the worst marked NFC I have ever seen. No sign off highway just 1 mi away. I went 8 mi to summit before I realized I had missed it and could find a place to ask directions and turn around with a tow vehicle.

So while this off the grid campground was absolutely gorgeous. The host came to greet us. Her behavior was very erratic, and she appeared to be on something that made her act this way. She told us that there had been some altercations at the campground in the last few days with people coming onto our site and bullying the campers that were there. She also mentioned that there was some gunfire the night before. It was all a very disturbing experience and we were sad to leave, but we didn’t feel good about staying there so we left.

This campground is amazing with one caveat: it requires an attentive and brave campground host. Luckily for my wife and I, Shasta was exactly that during our stay. Several locals randomly decided that our private paid spot was their public fishing spot while we were there. They were extremely rude, ignorant, and possessed a bully mentality. Shasta was able to put them in their place and remove them from our site, literally having to threaten to call the cops. Without her presence, I fear the entire experience would’ve been different, and we ultimately would have had to move our trailer due to invasion of our site. Shasta is very knowledgeable, and as long as she is hosting, we will be back many more times!

The camp host, Shasta, was very kind and always checked in when she saw us. She keeps a very neat camp - everything was clean and tidy.

The campground was awesome. Nestled in a beautiful canyon on the banks of the Ten Sleep Creek. Life doesn’t get much better. The fishing was great and the bathroom was clean!

Shasta, the host, is hilarious in the best possible way and can guide you to all the area has to offer.
