What payment options do you offer?

Payment & Billing

OutReserve accepts a variety of payment methods to make booking your outdoor getaway as smooth as possible. Whether you prefer a traditional card payment or a digital wallet, we've got you covered.

Accepted payment methods

You can complete your reservation using any of these payment options:

Credit and debit cards
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
- Both credit and debit cards are accepted
- Your card will be charged at the time of booking (unless the host offers a payment plan)

Digital wallets
- Apple Pay for iOS and Safari users
- Google Pay for Android and Chrome users
- PayPal (available for select properties)

All payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment system, so your financial information stays protected.

Saving payment methods for future bookings

When you make a booking, you'll have the option to securely save your payment method to your OutReserve account. This makes future reservations faster and more convenient.

Saved payment methods appear as options at checkout, and you can manage or remove them at any time in your account settings. We never store your full card number—only a secure token that allows us to process payments on your behalf.

How payment works at checkout

Here's what to expect when you're ready to book:

  1. Select your payment method from the available options
  2. Enter your payment details (or choose a saved card from your wallet)
  3. Review the total amount, including any cleaning fees or service charges
  4. Complete your booking—your payment is processed immediately

You'll receive a confirmation email with your receipt right away. Some hosts may offer installment payment plans, which allow you to pay a portion upfront and the rest closer to your check-in date.

Troubleshooting payment issues

If your payment doesn't go through, double-check that your card details are correct and that you have sufficient funds available. Sometimes payments are declined due to security holds from your bank, especially for larger transactions.

If you continue to experience issues, try a different payment method or contact your bank to authorize the charge. You can also reach out to our support team for assistance.
