2010 Starcraft Autumn Ridge 278BH - RV rental near Twentynine Palms, CA

RV overview

So, you want to explore the desert? Let us help you out with that! This listing is for you, if... - ...you are a family or friend group of up to 7 people. - ...you have no towing capabilities - we drop off and pick up! We will get you all set up and leave it walk-in ready. - ...you want a little bit of extra creature comforts during your desert stay. You want a real bed, a fridge and freezer for your groceries, and the ability to cook in a full kitchen. - ...you want a space to retreat to for the early winter nights. Play a game, read a book, relax and wash up at the end of a day hiking. Kids will find coloring supplies and picture books to keep occupied. - ...you are looking for a rental that is cognizant of allergens and toxins. Our camper is smoke and pet free. We went the extra mile to outfit it with organic/ OEKO tex bedding, non-toxic cookware and refuse to use fragrances or harsh chemical cleaners. - ...you crave more context to your experience. Nerdy about nature? History buff? Read up on the park's hiking trails, mining history and desert ecosystems in the guidebooks we provide. Also, ask us questions! Our family works for the park. We love our trails, have hiked hundreds of miles here and are happy to help. As locals, park employees, avid hikers, nature lovers and a family of five, we stocked our camper with everything we think you might need. Since we encourage you to minimize waste by using our dishware, there are only a small, reasonable number of disposable items (paper plates, paper towels, sandwich bags) available. Bring extra if you need more. We also provide basic spices and enough RV toilet paper for your stay. --------------- Some notes on dry camping: All of Joshua Tree's campgrounds have no electric, no water, or sewer hookups, and this trailer is outfitted for exactly that. It will be dropped off equipped with a full tank of water, which will help with your basic hygiene & dishwashing needs (not potable! Bring your own drinking water, and lots of it.) We encourage renters to utilize the campground's vault toilets and consider cat washing to stretch the trailer's water supply. Using the shower and toilet sparingly can ensure the water tank lasts your whole stay. Basic electric functions (lights, fan, water pump) run on the camper's solar, which is nice for early winter evenings. That being said, the outlets run on shore power so bring your power banks for phones and laptops! Refrigerator & freezer as well as stove & burners run on propane. While the fan will keep air circulating, the camper's air conditioning, also needs shore power. Plan around desert temperatures! October through April is usually the sweet spot out here. ----------- Communication is important to us. Let us know about any concerns you have, or anything we can do to make your stay more pleasant. We provide a full renting guide, complete with camper manual, cleaning instructions, inventory of our items, and tips about desert hiking safety. I will share a digital copy with you when you request the booking, as well as a printed copy in the camper during your stay.
