A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Q: Is Olathe Ford who we would be renting it from? A: We’re owned by Olathe Ford, but we’re the RV dealer in Gardner, KS. Not Olathe, KS. Q: Do we need to add insurance like AAA? A: The RV comes with state minimum liability, comp, collision, fire and theft. I’m pretty sure RVshare provides roadside assistance. Q: Do you charge extra for mileage? A: Yes. You get 100 miles per night free. So, a 4 night rental gets 400 miles free. Each additional mile is $0.59/mile. Q: Would we be able to pick up sooner than 3 pm? A: Usually, yes. We schedule all rentals by appointment on the day that you book. Q: Are there any other RV Rental locations near North KC that you own? A: We only have one location. We're owned by Olathe Ford, but we are in Gardner, KS. About 40 mins south of NKC. Q: Do you provide emptying the tanks when we return or do we have to already have them emptied before we return the vehicle? Thank you. Is there an extra fee for that? A: We recommend you dump them when you are leaving and use them on the way home. We will dump them for you one final time. There is no fee for that. Q: Looks like there's $1000 deposit with an additional PREP FEE? What's the Prep Fee include? A: The prep fee covers various items such as dump hose, water hose, a 45-minute training walk-through, propane, tank dump (we handle tank dumping upon return), and insurance. Additionally, for trailers, we supply the hitch, ball, and sway control. Q: Can we leave our car at the location while we are traveling? Is there a fee for that? A: Yes, you can leave one vehicle. There is no extra fee for that. Q: If we decided we wanted to rent it one more day do we need to notify you in advance? A: Let me know as soon as you know, because the RV may be booked right after you. Q: How many MPG does this RV get? A: The Cross Trails get 12-16 MPG. All of our RVs & Trailers are WINTERIZED between Mid-to-Late October and Early-to-Mid March. Depending on weather conditions, this period may be longer or shorter.
