What Guests Are Saying
Bandido Group Campground is praised for its cleanliness, spacious sites, good fire pits, and proximity to a creek, making it enjoyable for families. The campground offers plenty of shade and a secluded atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. However, access issues due to a lack of communication about the gate code can be problematic for weekend visitors.

Campgrounds were clean and quiet. A couple of bathrooms nearby, plenty of space, good fire pits/rings, each site seemed to have a bear storage container, and a little creek that ran between all of the sites. It was a great time for a couple of dads and some young kids.

They don't provide the password to the gate, unless you call them during the week. I ended up not having access or any way to get code to get in on the weekend, they didn't provide in email and no way to find or contact anyone on the weekends. I had to find another campsite thankfully others in the area are better for people going on the weekend

Read the instructions! I have never been to a campground where you have to call ahead for a gate code. I arrived at 7pm, no one around, no parking, no cell service. The gate was locked and I had to drive and find an available campground. Praise the maker for Chilao campground, it was accessible and available. Much better than this lousy campground. And my request for refund was denied… Thanks for the lesson.
