No grass on site. Just dirt and holes in ground as well as nails. Our car had a bumper sticker and was vandalized. Sticker had no cursing or anything dirty. Our rv was unplugged once. Golf carts are constant and people use them for cruising. Their security guard was always screaming at people. Advertised wifi and restaurant and was none. Laundry facilities always out of service. Shower services out of service. Horrible.

I just relocated from BC to the Ottawa area and found Kittawa… We stayed for 8 nights. The park was good. The seasonal members were fairly welcoming and even had us act as judges for their “Halloween” celebrations. super fun! The transient sites were “parking lot camping” pull-thru sites that could use some trees for shade and privacy but were fairly large. The pool was great for the hot days and basketball courts and pond were a great touch too. A bathroom closer to the transient pull thru sites would be nice but since we’re self-contained, it wasn’t a big deal for us. Water pressure isn’t great but it got the job done. Dog park was amazing!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this campground! Our tent site (337) was right on the waterfront, and the views were simply beautiful—such a peaceful spot to relax and wake up to in the morning.
The amenities were very clean, and the people were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. There were plenty of weekend activities to enjoy, and the water play structure, peddle boat and the kayaks were a highlight—extreme fun for both kids and adults!
We also really appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere. We brought our two dogs, and they loved being able to swim in the designated dog area.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay—relaxing, fun, and memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

We just came back from a 6 day stay. We have been camping for years and this was our worse experience of all. Very disappointing campground. People are not welcoming at all.

First, a few seasonal people think the camping is theirs. I won’t name this man but the way he talked to us the first day was awful. Thinking the pool belonged to him. It was 10:30 the first morning when he and his friends told us that at 11;00, the pool was only for adults and we had to get out, which we knew so he could have minded his own business. Then our bikes were at the wrong place, again, awful interaction.

2nd, fire were not allowed, which was understandable because everything was so dry. The second morning, we went to ask if we were allowed those propane fire. We were told yes. Went to buy one and the first night we used it, security arrived very shortly. Clearly someone had made a complaint as the security lady came right to our site. Funny enough the lady in front of our site kept checking at us through her window. I have to say that the security lady was very sweet though but we never used it again. Big expense for nothing 😡😡 and frustrating when we took the time to ask.

Our kids felt they were checked for everything they were doing. Helmets are mandatory on bikes but never saw that anywhere. So did not bring them. My kids are 17-14. All week they kept being told to wear helmets or not used their bikes.

The age group of this camping is quite old and clearly, they don’t like kids.

Today, it was our departure. Two days ago we went to ask if we could leave later than 11:00. We were told if our site was available there was no departure time. Today, it was a different story. The lady told us 1:00 was the max 🤦🏼‍♀️. No one says the same thing on this camping, like the propane fire.

For us, it was our first time and our last. Never going back.

My family of 3 stayed last week for four days. We really enjoyed it. It’s been the most relaxing camping trip to date. There was a lot to keep my 3 year old son occupied. The staff was welcoming, check in and out was a breeze. The grounds were kept clean. I felt a heavy sense of a community during the stay. The seasonal campers were friendly and nice. We met some very nice people. We felt confident to let our son ride his bike everywhere. All traffic was considerate and driving slow. The playground was great, the water playground was fun for all of us. The basketball nets are adjustable. So one net was kept lower for little ones. I thought that was awesome. The location is great. Really no complaints. We will be returning for sure.
