What Guests Are Saying

The reviewers appreciated the proximity to family in Cornwall and enjoyed the beach, despite it being crowded. They noted a lack of privacy due to close trailer parking and found the washroom facilities inconvenient for those with mobility issues. They also suggested improvements for noise regulations and cleanliness in the showers.

My partner Don & I stayed here last year as my step daughter lives in Cornwall. We live in London. There was not much privacy as the tailers are all parked close. We informed them prior I was handicapped but it was a long walk to the washroom and showers. It was very disappointing. We both found it expensive for this type of a setting. We had stayed at other Provincal Parks that your in a spot with your trailer, we have a 18 ft winnebago surrounded by trees & woods for more privacy. The beach was good but extremely crowded. There are no signs or rules for turning down the volume after 11 o'clock. Maybe campers should be written in the paper work when you pay your fee to stay here. Its fine to socialize & party up with family and friends but think of the volume and people around you and tone it down after 12 or midnight. We paid the fee for the step daughter and grand kids to come for the day to go swimming. Staying here the 4 days was so we could be close to them as they live close by. I prefer using the campsite showers when we are away as it saves the water usage in our trailer. The showers could have used a scrubbing they were not very clean. We wish this campsite all the best, without reviews things won't get changed.

Incredible place to camp, all the sites were quite nice. It had a boat launch that was fairly well maintained. The washroom and facilities were good and had nice hot showers. The beach was beautiful. What was not to like. The site we picked had tree coverage, a great flat spot for the tent, a picnic table and a nice firepit. Best thing about it was, at night you could hear the chatter of nearby campers and the laughter of kids having fun but only to a dull roar. It was a great experience and would definitely go again.

Great park & beach with plenty for kids to do. Thanks to covid restrictions, there was only half of the allowed number of visitors on site so it made for plenty of available beach space. Pricing was very reasonable (7.50$/adult, Kids are free)
2 play structures on site, lots of mature trees for shade, 1 outdoor rinse shower and bathrooms available. I did notice a snack shack but I didn't have a chance to go check it out. A negative was the amount of goose droppings in the park and the grass walkway to the beach but thats nothing they could do about that.
Overall, a very nice day was had!

Above average campground, not spectacular but has everything you'd need including a boat launch, docks, beach, showers, nature trails, play structure, racoons. Cheap firewood 5$ a bundle.

Loved It! Clean, well kept. Large beach area. Snack bar, canoe rentals, two descent sized playgrounds for the kids. Many trees to set up under for some shade. The walk from the parking lot to the picnic/beach area is not too far. Bathrooms were very clean at the time and day of our visit. 7$/day / adult. Kids under 12 free. All around a great spot, no complaints.
