We have camped at Pine Ridge a total of three times so far this summer. Kristal and her staff are amazing. This will continue to be our campsite of choice in the future. I have camped my whole life and never had the amazing experience we had with Pine Ridge. Kristal makes a point to make sure that her campers have the best time possible. Easter egg hunts, water wars, fishing tournaments, darts, horseshoes, cornhole, and much more. And she helps with supplies needed for everyone to get involved. I tell everyone about this campsite and the amazing people who run it. Can't wait for my next opportunity to go!

Long but very thorough and honest.
I wish they provided more information about the cabin or rentals in the cabin. Like a laminated piece of paper on the fridge or by the door. Like most hotels and rentals do these days.
When you check in they give you the same beautiful information that is available on their website in their pine ridge pamphlet. However apon walking back in and asking about the "river and floating" their answer is just go straight down and you can go in anywhere. After reading what they advertised on their site, I assumed that there would be an actual River flow where you could go from a starting point to your destination and nothing like that was relayed.
The playground was all the things my kids wanted. They were sad that the pool was not open when we got there (letting me know that when I booked would have been great).
The actual cabin was set back in a nice private lot with only one neighbor to the side and one diagonal and had plenty of room for parking.
The quantity of rooms was great and the size is exactly what you expect and need in a camp cabin. It was disappointing to see that one of the twin mattresses didn't have a cover on it. Along with the box spring for the queen had a smaller cover thrown on it that didn't fit so that was also exposed and causing the mattress to slide. The kitchen has tons of things that you can use. Gas stove, toaster, Keurig, microwave, sink, fridge. They have a sign posted above the stove that says something about no pilot and needing to use a match. However they should probably also have a "cation" sign about how hot the ton of the stove gets, especially when little kids are in the cabin. The toilet was nice to have in our cabin. I will say the "shower building" was far from a positive experience. I went first thing in the morning with my girls hoping to have a cleaner experience and that just wasn't the case. I as an adult can rough it, but my girls had a really hard time. The physical condition of the cabin is cutesy and rustic. However it's outdated (again to be expected) they do tell you they will charge you $200 if anything is damaged and I'm unsure of how they would really be able to tell when the floors are lifting and missing pieces, the fridge shelves were wobbly and slanting down, the TV wouldn't work, the bathroom door brackets are falling off and the ceiling fan in the main room/ living room is hanging by the wires. My point is, it put me on edge on my "vacation " to have to wonder if I'm going to be blamed for anything.
The park also has that vibe of tons of regulars. As in so many people are just there all the time and treat it however they want with no repercussions if they break the rules. I watched two families come into the pool area with drinks and a whole cooler but my daughters and I read all the rules saying nothing allowed in there. It's a double standard if you ask me.
The staff was absolutely wonderful when we had to get ahold of them for a toilet clog (the tank just hadn't filled yet). However when I went to check out the office was closed and there was no signage to let me know where to put the keys to the cabin. Not to mention I wanted to be polite and tell them my concerns before leaving.... Unfortunately I never got the opportunity before heading out on my 5 hour trip home. So in my honest opinion after traveling to a lot of places for work and for my husband's work, I would say the price is too high for the quality. It has the potential to be a huge money maker for them and would really only take a few minimal things to achieve this... I would stay with another adult but I won't be bringing my kids back unless they change their showers and the safety issues.

My family/friends hop around from campsite to campsite throughout the summers, and we always make sure we book with Pine Ridge every year! Our kids have a blast with the park, pool, fishing in the river, and all of the other activities they offer. The camp staff are some of the most genuine people and we can't wait to visit again!

This is the second time I've stayed at Pine Ridge Campgrounds and I love it here! The blue cabin is fantastic and has all the charm of rustic which is perfect. Prices are super reasonable as well! It is super clean and I love the kitchen area, the spacious rooms and the half bathroom is perfect. They are also dog friendly, so that is A-1 in my books. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. We come here for the rally and obedience trials and Train and Fetch dog club so it is only a 5 min drive from there. We WILL be staying again! :) xoxo

I stayed here in the primitive camp site for about 4 weeks (Sunday-Friday) while in the area for work. I stay in camp sites over a hotel when I go out of town for work and this has been one of the best places I’ve been to. The owner Kristal is amazing, she always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The park is clean and the people are extremely friendly. I had a site on the salmon river and it was so quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
