What Guests Are Saying
Chilatchee Creek is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained campsites, and friendly hosts, particularly Kim, who is noted for her helpfulness. The campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views and ample space for privacy, making it a hidden gem for campers. While access involves a mile-long dirt road and cell reception is poor, these factors do not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

The park looked closed on our arrival. No map of park posted, no host, no reservation for truck or spot like all other Corps parks. The entry road for 1 mile is dirt, rained out, large potholes. The park had moss on tables. I got poor reception from Verizon and no reception from AT&T. The host arrived at the park 2 days later and asked us how long we were staying as she didn't have any information about us. She was very nice. We were the only people in the park at the time of our arrival. The bathrooms and laundry were clean and working.

Other than the 0.8 mile stretch of dirt road this out of the way COE camp is great. Not very busy and nice large sites on the river inlet. The showers could use some attention 2 of them just did not work.

The camp host did nothing but talk on the phone. Even though we had problems with identifying our site directly in front of hers. The 30 breaker was defective. Lucky I have a adapter to use the 50 amp outlet. There was official presence. Warning to any guests this campground is extremely remote and there was no cell coverage for us and we drove around for well over a hour lost.
